"The Drunkard" is a novel by author Guy Thorne. Dr. Morton Sims, the leading authority in England upon Inebriety is reading his newspaper one evening when a story catches his attention. Hancock, the Hackney murderer, is to be executed the next day at the North London Prison at eight o'clock.
