SIMON FEENY is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University, Australia. He was formerly employed by the University of Melbourne and is a former intern of the United Nations University's World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER). He has undertaken work for a number of international institutions and agencies. MATTHEW CLARKE is a Senior Lecturer and Course Director of the International and Community Development postgraduate program at Deakin University, Australia. In addition to research and writing, Dr Clarke regularly undertakes evaluation of community development interventions in southeast Asia for various private and public aid agencies.
