Private detective Igor Gladyshev was approached by an elderly woman, Margarita Yalysheva, with a request to investigate the murder of a well-known Moscow lawyer, Valery Krutkov, in which her son Artem is accused. There is irrefutable evidence against the guy, moreover, he is already in jail, but the woman does not believe in her son's guilt. The case seems hopeless, and yet Gladyshev takes on the investigation. And soon he finds out that the lawyer was killed after his birthday, which, in addition to Artyom, was attended by five more people, and some of them have a serious motive to kill the lawyer...
