Lindy Boone Michaelis was born into an entertainment environment as the second daughter of singer/entertainer Pat Boone. She and her family toured all over the U.S. and internationally, recording several Christian albums, including the Grammy award nominated "First Class." Lindy is wife to Mike and mother to Ryan, Jessica, and Tyler. In June 2011, Lindy's son Ryan stepped through a skylight and fell three stories to the concrete below. Lindy has learned a lot about the faithfulness of God through Ryan's injury and her family started a foundation called Ryan's Reach, to help survivors of brain injury and their families.
