<span>Dan Dietz</span><span>was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow at the University of Virginia, and the subject of his graduate thesis was the poetry of Hart Crane. He taught graduate and undergraduate courses in composition, world literature, and the history of modern drama at Western Carolina University, and later served with the U.S. Government Accountability Office and the U.S. Education Department.
