Former cinema camera director Julius journeys across Europe with his family to his sister's wedding in Rome. But this will be an unusual road trip. It's 1934 and tension is building, and Julius has only just been released from an institution to travel. As the family motors south, Julius' mental stability will be tested, as will be the sanity of his relatives.
