Deirdre Flynn is Lecturer in the School of English, Drama and Film at University College Dublin, Ireland. She has worked at the Moore Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick. She has lectured at undergraduate and postgraduate level in English Literature and Drama and Theatre Studies. Her research interests include world literature, postmodernism, Murakami, Irish studies and feminism. Eugene OBrien is Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of English Language and Literature in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, Ireland, and Director of the Mary Immaculate Institute for Irish Studies. He is also the editor for the Oxford University Press Online Bibliography project in literary theory. He has written six single author books and edited or co-edited a further seven. His most recent books are: Seamus Heaney as Aesthetic Thinker, The Soul Exceeds its Circumstances: The Later Poetry of Seamus Heaney and Tracing the Cultural Legacy of Irish Catholicism: From Galway to Cloyne, and Beyond, edited with Eamon Maher.
