Fraser Smith, MATD, ND, is a naturopathic physician and Professor in Clinical Sciences at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Illinois. He is the author of several textbooks on naturopathic medicine and books for the public. He is the academic officer responsible for the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree program at NUHS and has been since it's inception in 2006. He is a licensed dietician nutrition in Illinois, and has particular interests in cardiovascular prevention, and the role of dysfunction and damage to the extracellular matrix. He is currently Vice President of the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners.
