Lerner has a master's degree in biology, a bachelor's degree in practical philosophy and a Ph.D. in thematic studies of health and society. Lerner's research focuses primarily on the philosophical foundations of One Health approaches, the concept of health as well as on ethics in human-animal relations.</div> <div> </div> <div>Lerner's teaching at the university has been in ethics, bioethics, philosophy of science and the methodology of science, especially in healthcare sciences.</div>
