This Open Access book explores the application of artificial intelligence across finance, accounting, and business administration in Romania and Hungary. It provides a comprehensive assessment of the current landscape, including collaboration networks, industry use cases, data analysis and visualization techniques, and future research directions. Emphasizing the regional context, it examines policy frameworks, ecosystem dynamics, and practical case studies from both countries. The first part of the book presents the state of the art in AI applications within finance, accounting, and business administration. It then analyzes the current state of the digital economy in Romania and Hungary, highlighting business transformations driven by AI integration. Finally, the book turns to future research perspectives, focusing on opportunities for universities and regional collaboration through AI initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe. Prof. Dr. Habil Diana Sabau Popa is Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Oradea, Romania. She has an extensive academic background in international business, entrepreneurship, and higher education management. As a faculty leader, she has coordinated numerous educational initiatives aimed at modernizing curricula and strengthening the connection between academia and the business environment. Her research portfolio includes publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings in the fields of economics and management, most of them indexed in the Web of science. She has coordinated national and international research projects, served as a reviewer for scientific journals, and has been actively involved in academic networks that promote innovation and sustainable development in higher education.
