On 4 February 2013, Uwe Blaurock turned seventy. On his 68th birthday and his retirement, a symposium was held at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg on "Corporate Law in the Light of Branches of Commercial Law." In addition to the papers given at that time, this Festschrift contains further articles from 33 of his students and contemporaries which deal with the entire range of corporate law, including trade law and company law, labor law, banking and insurance law, intellectual property rights as well as fiscal and competition law.
