This is the first collected volume dedicated to Fronto's epistolary work. By examining his letters as a literary project, and not just functional private texts, the seven case studies presented here take a fresh approach and look at the hybridity and dynamic character of the later correspondences to reveal their multifaceted communicative and performative potential.
