Imagine a microwave oven that learns the target temperature of the foods you consume and automatically recommend the temperature, heat the food to that temperature and you never need to guess the warm time. How about a shower where you can set your desired water temperature using a display panel and the temperature is kept fixed using a closed loop system for a better shower experience. Is the diaper of a baby wet and you did not notice it for several hours - imagine a gadget that notifies you in your smartphone when the diaper needs to be changed. To date, Dr. Khan has authored 50+ publications in the area of Smart Home, Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, and Image Processing. He has 2 US patents issued. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
