This is an intiative work on Artificial insemination of swine in Jharkhand. It focusses its study on the breeds of Large white yorkshire, Tamworth and a cross obtained from the both breeds. It will definately work as a guide for the future research in this feild. This study not only focusses on artificial insemination but also standardises the method of semen collection and preservation in swines. The study also analyses the semen of the above mentioned breeds comparitively.

Dr. Ravindra Kumar graduated from Bihar Veterinary College, Patna in the year 2000. He did his M.V.Sc. form Ranchi Veterinary College in the year 2003. He then joined as junior scientist cum Assistant Professor in the department of LPM at Ranchi Veterinary College itself.He completed his Ph.D. in the year 2010 from G.B.Pant University, Pantnagar.
