'The Feast and the Law' Feasts are an essential element of human life. They are regulated by the Law in different ways, or they cause legal disputes. This volume presents selected, mostly humorous cases which show the collision of the Law and feasts. It deals with celebrations of the human life, like birthdays and marriages, and with feast in a year's circle - Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival, Good Friday and Easter, and the Oktoberfest.
