'The Role of Parents in German Juvenile Criminal Proceedings. A Dogmatic-Analytical Treatise on the Current Role of Parents in Juvenile Criminal Proceedings with Emphasis on the Influence of Recent EU Legislation': Embedded in the respective phases of juvenile criminal proceedings, the book covers all rights and obligations of parents and legal representatives within these. Legal basis is provided in particular by §§ 67, 67a, 51 JGG. Thereby it is established that § 51 VII JGG is unconstitutional. Overall, it is concluded that the influence of Directive (EU) 2016/800 does not weaken the parental primacy stipulated in Art. 6 II 1 GG, despite it not granting parental rights the same status.

Dilara Güntner studierte Rechtswissenschaften in Heidelberg und München, wo sie 2024 promoviert wurde. Neben ihrem Studium war sie in einer internationalen Wirtschaftskanzlei als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin sowie als internationale Flugbegleiterin tätig und schloss eine Weiterbildung zur Fachberaterin für Servicemanagement ab. Seit 2024 ist sie Referendarin am Oberlandesgericht Frankfurt.
