Where the Octopus Dreams
Zusatztext
Eight short stories by Ankalina Dahlem take you into a fever dream of longing and loss. Where the Octopus Dreams reads like if Angela Carter had written fairy tales while recovering from a broken heart in a damn cold Berlin winter. This slender collection of eight interconnected stories follows an unnamed narrator's pursuit of a shy octopus through impossible waters, each tentacle leaving behind a tale that shifts between brutal realism and shimmering fantasy. Dahlem writes with the precision of a surgeon and the recklessness of a drunk poet.
