Zusatztext
This work piece has been accomplished with the main objective of locating and documenting data about Katwe-Kabatoro Township, Lake Katwe and the traditional economic activities that dominate salt mining at the lake, in Kasese district western Uganda. Information on tourism around Lake Katwe and the Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) is also presented. To achieve the objective, field visits were conducted to Katwe and data was collected through key informants using face to face discussions in combination with observations, the internet and secondary data while a camera was used to capture important extra information. The author anticipates that findings reported here will be very important in providing information to government agencies, none governmental organisations (NGOs) tourists, researchers, and students on study tours to Lake Katwe, Katwe-Kabatoro Township and the Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP).
