Farm tractor accidents are the major cause of farm work-related deaths. Plant and equipment in general, and the tractor in particular, play a major part of in the business of farming. This book discuss all the aspects of tractor safety and possibility of overturning of tractor under field. Safe use of the tractor is a constant theme- there are right and wrong ways to setup and operate the tractor and hazards which are not always obvious. Ashok Kumar & Srinivasa Rao are the Assistant Professors at College of Agricultural Engineering, Madakasira- The ANGRAU University, Andhrapradesh, India. Prier to 2013 (Dr)Ashok Kumar held a Junior Project Officer post at IIT Kharagpur. There teaching duties covers a wide range of engineering related topics including courses on tractr driving, operation and Maintenance.
