There are number of techniques generally used in Non destructive testing of materials. Such as Radiography, Ultrasonic and Eddy current; etc. In these techniques Eddy current for structural evaluation has not been much utilized. This technique has many advantages to the other Non destructive techniques.This technique is simple, quick, reliable, reproduceable. Material evaluation and Metallurgical phase change can be easily estimated by this technique. This technique also can be utilized for coated materials.

Shoaib H.Khan did his Bachelor, Master and PhD from University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He joined as a scientist in a research based organization in Pakistan. He worked there for more than 25 years in the field of Materials Evaluation. He was awarded Gold Medal and Best Scientist award in 2011. Presently he is working as a professor in Pakistan
