The rodentia is by far the largest mammalian order; nearly half of all mammal species are rodents. They are worldwide in distribution and are found in almost every terrestrial and fresh water habitat. Rodents bite more than 45,000 people each year. Rodents contaminate and destroy enough food and feed. The close proximity of these rodents to human and animals habitation means that they can spread and transmit diseases which affect human and animals. They also damage containers, doors, wall materials, cooling pads, electrical wires,.etc. A successuful rodent control strategies typically includes three elements: sanitation measures, rodent proofing and population control.
