Zusatztext
The present book analyses poetic metaphor in terms of pragmatic concepts: implicature, presupposition, and entailment. Besides, it analyses the poetic metaphor in terms of speech acts, assuming that the poet addresses messages to the readers. Also, the study regards the poetic metaphor as an image. Hence the comprehension of the image of each metaphor requires the analysis of the metaphor pragmatically.
