Zusatztext

Currently lot of research is being done in shape memory alloys because of their number of potential application in almost all the fields including bio-materials, power generation etc. but still we are facing following problems and we need to solve them. 1.Need of Shape memory materials with higher transformation temperature for use in the areas of power generation, Oil & Gas exploration and aerospace industry. 2.Need to improve the functional and dimensional stability of TiNiPd alloy. 3.To improve the creep & cyclic behavior at higher temperature and higher stress levels through better control on the high temperature stable precipitates. To use Shape memory alloys at High-temperature applications, we used to fabricate quaternary element TiNiPdCu through powder metallurgy route. As basic mechanism for high temperature stability of these alloys is precipitation induced defects therefore these precipitations were controlled by controlling the %age porosity. After that different characterization techniques like hardness test, SEM, XRD were carried out to evaluate our experiment and it was observed that there is significant relation between % age porosity and stability of this alloy.
