Zusatztext

Adoption of beekeeping was realized to be appropriate for improved livelihood of local people and enhanced sustainable conservation environment. The study has determined several factors; like lack of appropriate beekeeping skills among local people, lack of seasonal bee flora, its recorded data or calendar with environmental factors, lack of knowledge on available bee forage resources, its flowering seasons and poor seasonal colony management, which leads to colony absconding, low honey production, high pests and predators. To promote and sustain beekeeping among rural communities at this two zones and similar agroecologies worldwide: As a researcher, I recommend the improvement on identifying and documenting of seasonal bee flora data book for beekeepers, promoting tree plantation exercise in deforested and non-forest watershed areas should be encouraged to increase the tree cover in order to meet community demand for fuel wood and timber without affecting availability of bee fodder and has been suggested in line with sustainable natural environment conservation and climate change mitigation and lead the community to viable production systems towards sustainable livelihood.
