Cooperative learning among students is an essential element of inclusive classrooms. Cooperative learning represents a shift in educational paradigm from teacher-centered approach to a student-centered learning in small group. Cooperative learning has received increased attention in recent years due to the movement to educate students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment. She has been in the field for over three decades having wide and rich research experiences in Special Education. She has published 7 books and over 100 articles in Special &inclusive Education.
