The business model of political enterprises such as Stakeholder Inc. is simple yet highly effective. Rather than owning any means of production themselves, they avoid competition. Instead, they cooperate with political institutions through public private partnerships protecting them from competition in their business area. Data from Transparency International Integrity Watch illustrates the rapid growth of this PPP business model. As these cooperations advance, it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish where the private sector ends, and the government begins. This growing intermingling of the economy and politics is known as corporatism.
