The smell was terrible. The body of the club president must have been lying in the cellar for weeks. Did no one think to look in this room? Or did everyone know?
 And what reason was there to kill him in this way? You might accidentally lock him in, but only for a short time.
 And the club was like a dovecote. That made for a whole bunch of suspects. The three investigators had their work cut out for them.
