The topic of sexualized violence in the context of inpatient geriatric care can be understood as a research desideratum, as evidenced by the corpus of data generated in the course of this work. This book examines and identifies sexualized violence against female residents of inpatient geriatric care as a phenomenon that has received little attention to date and as a practical challenge in this field. Thus, by means of a systematic literature review, this topic is reconstructed as a clear research desideratum in the (inter)national space and discussed as a task for the discipline and profession of social work.
