Europe at a Crossroads discusses the current challenges the European Union is faced with. The collection is based upon an international conference at the Europa-Universität, Flensburg. In a series of contributions, experts from the fields of sociology, economics, philosophy and law explore how to deal with the ongoing crisis in the Eurozone. Consequently, this collection does not only benefit from the multitude of its contributors disciplines but also provides access to a broad spectrum of possible paths that could be taken, thereby presenting a wealth of multi-disciplinarian perspectives. Against a backdrop of both crisis-ridden developments in economic, sociological and political spheres, and also of Europes enduring stability and flexibility, this collection aims to assess the multiplicity of facets within Europe today.
