Ethics is everywhere! Ethics needs communication! Ethics sharpens your profile! To make this clear, the professional education concept ProEthics leads to discovering, reflecting and balancing values in vocational education training. It takes up situations from daily professional life and identifies their ethical dimensions. It has been shaped by the cooperation of European institutions of vocational training and universities representing an interdisciplinary cooperation of ethics and economics. The European Commission supported a two year project that brought experts from Ireland, Spain, Finland, Hungary and Germany together to profile such an innovative concept.

Prof. Dr. rer. pol. habil. Martin Büscher holds the chair for Economics/Economic and Business Ethics at the Protestant University Wuppertal/Bethel. He is Deputy Director of the Institute for Diaconic Science and Diaconic Management (IDM), Bielefeld-Bethel. Professor Dr. Dr. h. c. Michael Quante holds the chair for Practical Philosophy at the Westfälische Wilhems-Universität Münster. He is currently speaker of the Center for Bioethics (Münster) and president of the German Philosophical Association.
