'Moscow of the 20-s'' - is a fascinating short story by the famous Russian writer, playwright and theatrical personage Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov (1891 - 1940). The narrator in his time has walked along Moscow far and wide and he knows every street and every house. He shares his memories about the city in the 20-s of the XX century, about its houses with the lifts which did not work, about the communal flats with the thin walls and about the painful «housing problem».
