Every year, 8,000,000 children go missing in the world. And no one thinks about the reasons for the disappearances, until in one small town this begins to happen en masse. The police, represented by detective Alec Ray, are powerless, and every night brings suffering to several new families. There are no witnesses, no evidence - only dry facts and ... rumors about a monster. Strangely, a toy factory worker and an ordinary father of a family are involved in this case.
