This book is a contextual reading of Joshua 8:1-29. The authors ponders on the question of violence perpetrated in the name of God. In Cameroonian context marked by religious and social violence, especially with the attacks of the terrorist group Boko haram, how could one understand Joshua 8:1-29? Could God allow and condone violence? Is one allowed to carry out atrocities such as terrorism and ethnic cleansing in the name of God? Such as some questions asked in this short book.

Autorenportrait

Hermann Kassi was born in the central Region of Cameroon. After his secondary education he joined the missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He holds a bachelor degree in philosophy and a bachelor degree in theology. He is currently serving as a missionary in the east of Nigeria.
