I introduced as someone who had traveled a long way - literally and figuratively and your words and sense of humor kept our audience focused on you throughout. It is people like you with a story to tell that is inspirational to our audience. Business and medical leaders are fine to deliver information but it is your story that tells others who have walked in your shoes, that dreams can be achieved, no matter the obstacle. My ultimate goal is to motivate, inspire and provide as much Epilepsy Awareness internationally as possible. I went through some excruciating obstacles with my epilepsy, but my stubbornness prevailed; I battled through it and triumphed in the end. Having neuro surgery on Dec 3, 2002 changed everything for me. I Beat Epilepsy!
