This book is about how the Kedarnath Dham witnessed one of the most dreadful disaster and then how the rehabilitation was done here. It is written in a simple style so that every person must know how the local people, Indian Army and other National Disaster Teams were engaged in rescuing the strangled and badly struck people and finding those who are dead but stuck under the huge amount of debris. Also explains how human is involved in making this tragedy 'The disastrous tragedy of Uttarakhand'. The book covers the vital part of disaster rehabilitation so that the pilgrimage becomes more safe and secure. The book tries to present the real meaning of a 'Kedarnath Dham'. It is a detailed description of what measures were taken and what measures are now required to minimize the life loss and infrastructural loss. The book enlists the sad and true picture of unplanned construction of the Hydro-Power projects and how these projects are a curse for DevBhoomi. The book does not intent to hurt anybody's feeling towards the relation of GOD and Devotee but it just embarks the right step and measures that are necessary for the survival over such difficult locales.
