A scope for identifying the needs for the economic integration of immigrants in Germany within the right to access work across immigrant categories is studied by discussing the characteristics of the right of immigrants to access work, identify the determinants of economic integration of immigrants and explore the relationship between these phenomena. Identification of the migrant needs for economic integration depending on the characteristics of the economic rights to access work is the novelty of the study. Applying and implementing a new approach to the needs of immigrants for economic integration is a paramount for their employment opportunities, it contributes to the society benefits and economically efficient outcome.

Dr. Irina Vashko, is an Associate Professor at the Academy of Public Administration, Belarus, PhD in Economics. He participates in international projects and has authored more than 100 scientific publications. The paper is the result of the study conducted in the framework of the DAAD programme in Germany.
