This book concerns with some philosophical issues and debates have been running among both philosophers and historians of science. This book focuses on some philosophical issues raised by philosophers and historians of science. Believing that philosophy of science is a critical -analytical approach deals with different disciplines of knowledge, our aim, accordingly, is to deal with some scientific disciplines and to show the relationship between the logic on which science is based from one side and other disciplines in social sciences. This understanding leads us to claim the possibility of epistemological unity between what is exact and natural and what is social and humanistic.

Dr Mohamed Sayed Hassan is a professor of science. He works in both Ain Shams University, Egypt and Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate Oman. Got MA and PhD from Leeds & Durham Universities, UK. He is interested in epistemology in exact and social sciences. Mrs Alsaadi is a researcher who is interested in feminism & philosophy of social science.
