Meniscal injury is one of the most common injuries to the knee. The menisci are important for normal knee function and loss of a meniscus increases the risk of subsequent development of degenerative changes in the knee. At the present time, meniscal repair has become the main treatment for repairable meniscal tear. The arthroscopic all-inside technique for meniscal repair has the advantages of less surgical time and ease of performance. This technique has become the mainstay of recent meniscus repair treatment. There are many kinds of all-inside meniscal repair devices. The FasT-Fix device is an all-inside suture repair system that allows easy and rapid insertion of strong, tight horizontal or vertical loop sutures, which biomechanically remain the gold standard.
