This is an autobiographical novel about the traditions, habits, and values of the Arabic-speaking world of the Atlantic and western part of the great Saharan desert (Mauritania ). It talks also about the southern region of Morocco, Tindouf and its Hamada in Algeria and part of north westerns Mali. Specifically, this book is about Moorish traditions and customs and its heroine Teila is the sage of our community.

Professor Zeinebou Sidoumou is the Head of Doctoral Training in Biology and the EBIOME Research Unit at the University of Nouakchott Al Aasriya (Mauritania). Ms Zeinebou Sidoumou is President of the Mauritanian Association of Marine Sciences and of the Maghrebian Association of Marine Sciences in three terms (1999-2001, 2007-2009, 2017- 2019).
