Autorenportrait
Professor Md Arafatur Rahman is an internationally recognised expert in cybersecurity and communication networks, with over 15 years of academic and research experience. He is Professor of Cybersecurity and Communication Networks at the University of Wolverhampton and leads the CyberVehiCare International Research Consortium, which advances AI-driven vehicular cybersecurity and green communication. His research spans cybersecurity, IoT, 5G/6G, cyber-physical systems, vehicular technology and AI applications, and has attracted significant UK and international funding. He has published around 200 peer-reviewed papers and received more than 50 international awards. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and has been listed among Stanford Universitys Worlds Top 2% Scientists from 2019 to 2024. Professor Kim-Kwang Raymond Choo received his PhD in Information Security from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, in 2006. He currently holds the Cloud Technology Endowed Professorship at The University of Texas at San Antonio. He is the founding Co-Editor-in-Chief of ACM Distributed Ledger Technologies: Research and Practice and the founding Chair of the IEEE TEMS Technical Committee on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies. In 2009, he was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Rutgers Universitys School of Criminal Justice and at the Palo Alto Research Center. In 2025, he was a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure at The University of Iceland. His research interests include cyber analytics, security, and forensics.
