Trilateral development cooperation between India and EU, under the India-EU Connectivity Strategy is important. Here, the imperative to build North-South cooperation is to bridge the divide between the two and move beyond a two-bloc world, thus underlining multilateralism.</span></p>

Swati completed her PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on the European Union's development policy and environment focusing on the challenges of the SDGs. She was selected as an Erasmus+ Mobility Fellow in 2018. Swati has authored several briefs on furthering India-EU relations for the EU-India Think Tanks Twinning Initiative (EUITTI).</span></p>
